Refund Policy

Effective: June 11, 2026

1. All Sales Are Final

Rentals on DirectCut are sales of immediate digital access and are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, accidental rental, or dissatisfaction with a film’s content. Each film’s page shows its synopsis, runtime, and pricing before you rent.

2. Playback Failures

If a film fails to play due to a verified technical fault on our side, contact us within 7 days of your rental and we will issue a full refund. Include the email address you rented with and a description of the problem (device, browser, and what you saw). We may ask you to try basic troubleshooting steps so we can verify the failure.

Playback problems caused by your own network, device, or browser configuration are not eligible for a refund, but we’ll still try to help you get the film playing.

3. Rentals

A rental becomes non-refundable once playback starts. Rentals that expired unwatched are not refundable, except under the playback-failure rule above.

4. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, and typically appear within 5–10 business days. A refunded rental immediately loses streaming access.
